My predictions for the next round:
- Street Fighter II: The World Warrior
- Ultima
- Space Invaders
- The Legend of Zelda
- Zork
- Minecraft
Zork and
Ultima are the only ones I really have any doubt about. If not them, then I'd guess they'd choose
Angry Birds and
SimCity.

2016 finalists announced -

Final Fantasy instead of
Ultima. And
The Sims instead of
SimCity. And instead of
Zork,
The Oregon Trail. Given that kind of selection, it's a real wonder that neither
Angry Birds or
Wii Sports is on there. But they do have
GTA III,
Civilization, and
Elite as unexpected finalists. Here's hoping they're inducted.

Well,
Wii Sports finally made it on there. Along with
Solitaire. We're pretty much guaranteed to see
Angry Birds show up in next year's selection.
